About Us

Service Skills Centre (R&R Associates) has been a government funded registered training provider for almost 30 years in Rotorua.
Previously known as Fashion & Faces Ltd, the company has previously been very focused on training in Hair and Beauty.
Currently we offer Youth Guarantee Programmes for 16-19 year olds (15 year olds with an exemption from MOE).
Youth Guarantee provices NCEA tertiary training for Kiwi youth. Without fees. These initiatives are to improve young peoples’ transition from school to further study, training and employment.

We aim to ensure students can achieve knowledge and skills that will progress them into work or onto further study/training. Our programmes offer the hair, beauty or retail context to achieve NCEA at Level 1 and 2. Students can also achieve New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 1, New Zealand Certificate in Retail Level 2, and New Zealand Certificate in Salon Skills Level 2.

We offer a range of qualifications that provide for personalised entry and exit to suit your timing, ability and ambitions. We are able to recognise what you have/ haven’t already achieved and where you wish to progress to. You don’t need to wait for a new term or group to start your journey with us.
